subject: sundial?

-> the messages have already scrolled off my system cause they were older than
-> 3 month limit i have set on this area but i was wondering what ever happened
-> with the big sundial at that university(?)... something about replacing the
-> "pointer"??

I think Miles Maxted told us about it, and it was at a library in New
Zealand. It's the only sundial I have ever heard of in the southern
hemisphere, apart from one I made myself in Chile. The gnomon of the NZ
dial was stolen, and the last we heard there were plans to replace it.

I haven't heard from Miles in ages. Is he still here?
