each card has a 'T' piece that clips onto the back end outside the PC.
You connect the cable to one side of the 'T' and a terminator on the
other side of the 'T'. Do this at both ends of the cable. A 'T' is
usually provided with most cards but they are available separately for a
small sum of cash.
