I still maintain that it's totally different. As just one example, bring up
a drillbit from the ocean floor and nobody is worried about getting
contaminated by touching it.

If you have a well cared for lawn, and right in the middle of a drought you
stop watering it for a couple weeks or a month, what happens? Forget the
buildings, they are easily replaced, it's the people lost that made the
difference.
