I dunno, they used stuff from everywhere, including the platoon commander
and his sergeant calling in fire on their own position, and the guys who
returned to "the world" having problems that didn't go away when they came
back (Jones, the black sergeant) and the inability to re-adjust (Purcell).

To me, it was a bit too real, after hearing a few stories from friends
who'd been there.
