I am aware of a number of people doing just that but I am not sure that
anyone is doing that with Maximus, or at least not the DOS version. I seem
to remember someone doing this in OS/2 and for some reason I believe it was
with Maximus but I could be mistaken about that ... and then again it was on
an ISDN line and not cable. The real trick is getting the BBS to work with
Netscape as well as other telnet capable terminal packages (telnet is the
easiest and perhaps best route to go).
Anyhow I am interested in this cable idea as ISDN is not feasable here in the
"backwoods". I am not sure if cable would supply internet service here
either but one thing is for sure - the phone lines here are really bad and I
sure wouldn't want to rely on them to provide a good clear signal. :(
