Yep, it's one and the same. HTPE is an upgrade of the HyperTerm that ships
with Windows. Even this WinXP computer that the kids use still has
HyperTerm on it although I did upgrade it to 6.3. They upgraded HTPE to use
tcpip also at some point, now there is an option to use tcpip instead of
COMx.
