Then there was a behavioral issue you chose not to deal with. I did not
need to spend a LOT of time training them. It was done when they were
young and chose to accept me and my wife as the Alphas of the house. Lots
of love and kindness can make the task very simple. My dogs are a 12 year
old Rottweiler, and 11 year old Pit/bulldog mix, and a pair of 5 year old
boxer-rotts. All would bite you if you tried to take something from them,
but then you are not an accepted Alpha.
