Considering Jerusalem is well-known to be the "City of David" and everybody

Egypt+Syria+Lebanon put together a coalition force in an attempt to "push
Israel into the sea"(ie. to completely annihilate every trace of all things

Since when did Poland win land defensively from the Nazis?
Hitler attempted to take over all of Poland to annex it, with the rest of
Europe, to Germany!

There was no land of Palestine for the THOUSANDS of years it was known as
"Israel"

And, as I said, in 1948 the Arabs & Jews agreed to a division where the Arabs
got 89% of the land(& first choice) and the Jews got only 11% (including giving
up lots of land they had actual paper deeds/title to!)

The outside Arab forces (there were ONLY outside-Israel Arabs then) put
together a coalition in an attempt to destroy Israel (it insulted them to have
a Democracy in their midst, that treated women with respect/equality!)

The Jews BOUGHT land in "Israel-Palestine"(as it was officially
known then) and
moved there, and worked hard to reclaim desert & swamp to build it into viable
farmland/etc. -- THEN the Arabs attacked to STEAL the land they had formerly
sold to the Jews for many millions of dollars!
