LOL!! Never heard of a diet like that for a bird. Our dogs eat a similar
diet, though. Buddy will eat almost anything, including cucumber if you
put a dab of ranch dressing on a slice. He carries everything he finds
around in his mouth; cans of soup, beans, corn, whatever. He actually bit
into a can of kidney beans with a canine tooth. We found him laying on the
floor licking up the leaking juice! He's been known to eat an entire tomato
off the table, but like yours, will not take them off the plants in the
garden. Should my wife drops one on the way into the house, it's his!! He
recently ate an entire apple, seeds and all with no adverse effects. A few
months ago, he found and ate about 2 oz of dark chocolate with like
results. He's scared us several times, but seems to handle it well. At 80
pounds, we were worried, but watched him. He napped as if it was a normal
meal for him. All of our dogs eat veggies, including Broccoli. Baby cut
carrots are a special treat.

How are things going at your house?
