Hi, Dennis
RC> Now I'm thinking about buying a dive computer but I don't know which
RC> model is suitable for a not too experienced diver like me...
RC> Some friends have the Uwatec Aladin Pro and others have the Suunto
RC> Solution Alpha... These are the most usual marks here in Spain, but
RC> I'm opened to any suggestion about this theme... I prefer a dive
RC> computer who gives more importance to security over dive time...
RC> Have anyone any suggestion to do?
DS> The two you mention are both functional units as far as I am aware.
My friends says this too... that's why I can't select one of them...
each friend says his computer is better than the others... :?
DS> The main thing to keep in mind when buying a dive computer is that it
DS> does not take the place of normal dive planning tools. Always
DS> consider the computer as an ancillary piece of equipment that
DS> suppliments your dive planning tools.
I think so... thats the reason for what I haven't got one computer
yet... I don't _NEED_ one computer to have secure dives, but it is a
very useful tool to make them safer...
Enjoy your dives,
        Ricardo Herrera Calvo
