The only way any of it makes any sense is if "I own what I live." This
means, of course, that those writers who know me have every right to
write their own versions of the events, even if I come out stinking,

Sadly, Quinn, I can answer this succiinctly: Write what you know.
For this reason, one of my friends thinks I need to live more to be a good
writer. I have the philosopher complex however: I feel younger with each
year lived. Merlin, anybody?
