In Spain, nothing about this makes sense. They sell it to us as an energy saving
measure, which is absurd if we take into account that most people here usually
have dinner at say 10pm, and many people goes to sleep late in the night, past
midnight. So there's really not much of an energy saving.

On the other hand, for reasons that escape any thinking mind, while Portugal
has GMT, we go with the same time that the Germans. So when they wake up at
6:00am, it's a perfectly decent hour to do so. When we wake up at 6:00am, it's
closed night. When we wake up at 7:00am, it's still closed night. And in some
weeks, when we woke up at 8:00am it's still dark.
