/Huh!/ Bad no more ugly gun ban! What'cha gon', what'cha gon, what'cha gonna do, when Roy J. Tellason and VERN HUMPHREY come for you? VH>> Well, if guns are a problem in this country -- they're the ones who VH>> created it. And they did it for money. RJT> Just for money? There's gotta be more involved in it than that. RJT> Their attitude that "guns are yucky" for example... Not just guns, but certain kinds of guns. One thing I noticed while watching some of the old cops & robbers-type TV shows was confirmation of something I read in either G&A or an NRA publication: The crooks generally used autos while the good guys made do with revolvers. The crooks used Thompsons; the good guys used BARs, if they had autofire capability at all. That held through the '70s (Hawaii 5-0) until Miami Vice came along, IIRC.
