-> we've a store in a small "hamlet" near by that sells the 2L
inside for 99cen
-> all the time... they also have the standard drink coolers where you can get
-> 20's... outside they also have vending machines that sell colder 20's... the
-> are many times that the clerks will _tell_ you to put the 20 back in the rac
-> and get one from the machine outside... why? they are colder and they are on
-> 75cents... still more expensive per oz than by the 2L but a better
deal...
Most Coke vending machines around here offer 355-mL cans for $1, or
500-mL resealable plastic bottles for $1.25 (Canadian, of course). I
think 355 mL is 12 ounces, though whether they're "Imperial" fluid
ounces (the volume of an ounce (mass) of water), or weird Yankee ones,
I don't know. The Yankee ones are a tad bigger.
I'm no expert on Coke prices. I buy maybe two bottles a year. Someone
mentioned that the phosphoric acid in Coke might help bones to heal, so
I drank a few bottles when I broke my wrist a couple of years ago. It
healed just fine, but whether that had anything to do with the Coke is
anyone's guess.
