That's sounds like NZ ... the alternation is `marketing' Achilles heel, training consumers to ignore branding in favour of `specials' - and enabling keen-eyed buyers such as my wife to cut the household bills to the bone. If you have the space to store 10 or 20 units of a product, the saving in bulk buying at bargain peak is significant. At the moment, the margarine people here are having a price war on their anti-chloresterol product at nearly half-prices; the freezer's bulging, the doctor's grinning and purse ain't suffering....
