_Some_ film lasts a lot longer than _some_ CDs.

I don't know what the maximum life of CDs is going to be, I guess
no-one does, but the minimum life is down to a few months.

I don't know what the maximum life of film is, certainly it is
over 100 years, probably a lot longer under proper archival
storage.
