| subject: | D`Bridge Mystic AREAFIX |
Not sure as to the details on why I had to do all this for D'Bridge DoREnet to get an AREAFIX working, but here is how I got it to work. D'Bridge Internal Editor was sending netmails to AREAFIX - which for whatever reason, never worked even when editing the MSGID to use the proper network info. I ended up using the D'Bridge option "Request ECHO/TIC link". Added all the DoREnet echos using that setup - but before it sent it out via the queue - I exited D'Bridge to manually edit the packet in the QUEUE directory. I saw the AREAFIX password had an empty space at the end - which I'm assuming is why Mystic kept reporting "invalid password". When requesting old messages and a listing, D'Bridge adds a -R -L at the end of the AREAFIX password. Mystic apparently doesn't like that and required %RESCAN and %LIST on a blank line. The only thing on the subject should be the AREAFIX password. Even without the "old messages" and "request listing", there was still that empty space that was causing issue. After the manual packet edit in the QUEUE directory, fired up D'Bridge hub and let it send it off. Worked perfectly.. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.51* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 14/5 19/33 34/999 90/1 116/18 120/331 123/500 128/187 140/1 218/700 SEEN-BY: 222/2 230/150 240/1120 249/303 250/1 261/38 100 266/404 267/155 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 282/1056 292/907 908 320/119 219 340/400 393/68 396/45 SEEN-BY: 633/267 280 640/384 712/620 848 770/1 801/161 189 @PATH: 261/1304 1 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
