I think I saw Pat Knox say to Bettie West on 29 Jun 97 13:57:10:

(g) Sounds like me. The cat pattern book that I loaned Penny is indeed "The
Cat's Meow". Cute book IMO, I like it a lot. :-) "Bowsers and Meowsers" I
haven't decided if I want to buy yet.
And I only get to two quilt shows a year, not having a car right now... :-(
but I go shopping by bus whenever I can. :-) The big annual San Diego Quilt
Show is next month (Aug.) and I'm really looking forward to it. Last year's
had over 300 quilts (and I got to work in the wearable art section, which
means I got to white-glove-fondle all the goodies there. LOADS of fun!) :-)
BTW I have a cat pattern, it's 17 different shapes intended for machine
applique according to the pattern. The name is "Too Many Cats" (heh) by
Deborah Konchinsky. Pattern number is #8905, copyright 1989. I got it just
recently though at the wearable arts fashion show last month at the Bazaar
del Mundo here in San Diego. The contact info on the back is
The Critter Pattern Works
592 Old Rt 22
Lenhartsville PA 19534

The have a similar pattern that is all cat heads, and another cat one after
that, but I don't remember the details of it.. I just have this one, it was
the one I liked best, so I bought it. :-) It was $9. It has fish, mice,
and butterfly patterns too, being things that cats like.
On the back, it lists a ton of different patterns that this company carries,
like rabbits, exotic birds, dogs, teddy bears, farmyard friends, dinosaurs,
fish, horses, monkeys, butterflies, lizards, seashells, elephants, dolphins,
turtles, and even a Noah's Ark pattern. (whew!)
No connection with them BTW other than I like their patterns. :-)
Guess I should shut up now and let everyone get on with their email.
