  Under which protocol? With TCP/IP you can use VMODEM (it comes with SIO 
drivers, for OS/2) that makes you a virtual com port, so you can receive 
incoming telnet connections to that virtual port, where is your BBS soft 
looking for connection.
  I really don't know if there's a virtual modem for other S.O., but I guess 
there must be something for Win95/NT :)
