there is no firewall on that box and the NAT is being bypassed by a router.

Regardless, I tried localhost on that box and still am having the same issue.  I get:

ftp> cd uploads
250 Changed directory to "/Fansubbed_Videos/Uploads/"
ftp> binary
200 mode I (binary) ok
ftp> put c:\pikachu.doc
200 PORT command successful
532

(Oh and using the _ instead of space worked, thanks).
