Brenda and you both sound like a lot of fun on the echos.. I can only imagine 
what meeting must have been like  (fun!!)  :-)   Sounds like the perfect trip 
too, something for everyone.  (smile)
I LOVE the shark story.  (Though I imagine Tom might not be real thrilled.)

I liked the book, for it's cheerful "yes you can" attitude.  It's got a few 
patterns in the back, but nothing substantial in the way of clothes to make. 
It's more advice than anything.  I thought it was OK though.  :-)  Check your 
local library for it (or talk nice and I'll let you borrow it.  ;)   The cat 
pattern thingy is all applique patterns, not in book form, more like a sewing 
pattern package.   They're cute though.  :-)
I signed up for an "intro to jewelry making" class at that bead shop I 
mentioned.. class is this Saturday, from 10-3:30.  Should be fun (or at least 
interesting.  :)
