BA> Last year I picked up a bag of marrow bones for the dogs. One of my BA> labs managed to get one caught around her lower jaw. She couldn't eat BA> or drink or get the thing off. I tried to work it off and couldn't, BA> so off to the vet. He had to knock her out and then cut the bone to BA> get it off. Apparently the dog's jaw had swelled slightly, just BA> enough to prevent the bone from coming off. Aww. She recopuerated okay? There is a warning on some dog treat packages now (for chews) to make sure it's bigger than the dog's mouth. It could be she was fine with the bone at first but it got in there the wrong way just like how we can do the same thing eating food.. How she doing now?
