ac>> Dunno. 20,000+ nodelisted sysops can't be wrong, can they?

BG> Still using the full nodelist, I see. What's it up to now, around 7Mb
BG> uncompressed, or what? Think I'll stick with the Z3 nodelist then.

    Hah. ;-)

nodelist 167 3,309,823 20-06-95 20:21

It's getting there, slowly. I keep the full nodelist cos I do address
lookups. It's handy in confs like FN_SYSOP where people change aliases
faster than you can roll a ciggy, or people accuse "you're a point/not
in the nodelist -- get out!" (and they're often wrong). I only compile
the Z3 indexes though. I have the extra space for the nodelist at the
moment so it's no hassle.

3:635/727 is a different matter. The nodelist dir with the full
nodelist, othernet nodelists, full FrontDoor indexes, full NetmUtil
indexes, tops just on 11Mb in size.

11Mb is tiny though, when you have over 1Gb free. ;-)
