Bill,
       I don't believe most were bickering, but perhaps just trying to
       come to some conclusion as to way you were able to achieve
       4400cps on a 33.6k connect...
       A 4400cps rate on a precompressed file suggests an effective
       DCE rate of 35200bps.  I wasn't aware that USR supported above
       33600bps on their V.34 modems.
