MM> MM>School is fine for people who _want_ to be there. But why should it
MM> MM>be obligatory?
MM> DT> Because students, like all "children" needed to be guided by
MM> DT> responsible adults who understand that given a choice with no
MM> DT> immediate consequences many would choose not to attend school.
MM>That's the responsiblity of their parents, not you Dan nor any policy-
MM>maker.
Even our country's Founding Fathers agreed that in order for a
nation to be secure a population much be educated. I happen to believe
that they were right.
There are too many parents who don't clothe and feed their
children. The strange part about this, is that, even in our current
society abused children still get educated. ( I base this supposition
on my current Masters' project.)
