It was a great time.  Imagine 1800 foxpro fanatics (ok, maybe a few were 
realists) all getting together.  I got to meet and talk with lots of famous 
(at least in foxpro circles) people.  Had a good time learning about stuff.

Yes, its faster, and leaner.  But its only 32 bit, no win32s anymore.  Means 
you can only use it under 95 and NT.  But its worth it.  Lots of new tools, 
commands etc.  I particularly LOVE the coloring of commands and such when 
editing.

Yup, got a free (of course this shindig COST 1100 (got my money in a little 
late)) copy of VFP5 Professional (seems to be the only one this time) and of 
course them made us WAIT till the very end before they gave it out.  They 
also gave out copies of the "Internet Explorer Starter Kit" as well (mostly 
stuff I either had, or could have had for 3 months).  But all it all VERY 
valuable.
