That goes along with some of my suspicions. The video driver may not
be negotiable though. I have an ATI Mach 64 which is not supported
directly by the Vibrant Graphics driver included with 13, the generic
VESA option does not work, a RETURN key is entered when flipping from
text to graphics throwing me in an endless loop of the last command I
ran. I downloaded the latest version of the ATI driver for R13 (Panacea
Turbo DLD) about three months ago, I will probably check for another
revision. I might also try the SVADI driver included with R12, that's
what we used before. The tablet is a SummaSketch II and I've never been
real comfortable with how this tablet acted in AutoCAD, I might try a
MicroSoft mouse if nothing else works. We do use Eagle Point, and
have the latest release on order, but the errors occur with straight
AutoCAD as well.

I heard back from my dealer yesterday. He had contacted Autodesk
after I spoke with him and was told that a shortage of network buffers
can generate that error. I'm connected to a Novell file server.
I'm exploring that option right now but raising my buffers for the
network leaves me extremely short on conventional memory. I'm in the
process of deciding on what to give up in my config.

Thanks a million, you gave me some other routes in case the buffers
option doesn't work. If none of the above works rest assured I will be
back.
