A wealth of information and misinformation -- or possibly "disinformation" which from the construction of the word seems to mean information that leaves you knowing less than when you started Page 59: "You finally come to a fancy red-brick wall on your left. The mansion lying beyond belongs to the Neon family of neon light fame." And that turned up within five minutes of opening the book and sampling a few passages at random... I always thought the neon lights and signs were named for the gas neon, discovered in the 1890s by Sir William Ramsay, which was in turn named for the Greek word for "new". Silly old me I wonder what other "gems" it contains. Maybe a description of the home of the Sodium family who invented the Sodium vapor lamps that bear their name From Greg Mayman, in beautiful Adelaide, South Australia "Queen City of The South" 34:55 S 138:36 E ...
