Hey Everyone!

Hello, there

I am new to the list.  Shal told me about it and helped me sign on! I
suppose I should tell you guys a little about me. :) So here goes:

Welcome

My name is Jamieson and I've been a writer for many years. 

My name is Laurie and I've been a write for many years.

 I mostly
write fantasy, but not of the conventional sense.  No High Fantasy for
me.  Think Charles De Lint. Okay, make it more urban, more grounded in
real life. Then make it darker. Lots darker sometimes. That's usually
the stuff I write.  I also write "traditional" fiction, and am working
on a mystery right now. As well, I'm writing a childrens fantasy novel
with another friend of mine and am working on a dark fantasy right
now, as well as a book of short stories.

That's quite a range. I write historical fiction

I live with my partner and my sweet baby, my cat Mave, in Ottawa
Ontario Canada, and am trying to get my writing off the ground. 

I live with my friend Lisa (also a writer who occasionally posts here)
and my cats Kea and Big Mick in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada

 My
ultimate goal? To publish a serial, daily story in a newspaper. That'd
be awsome, but for now, I am publishing things on line and around and
about.

My ultimate goal is to get my books published

I'm not entirely sure what I should be putting here, so I'll leave it
for now and leave this email as an introduction. :)
