I think you're wrong. Surely Russian Olga originates from Helga but Danish
Olga is from Russian. In 20th century IMHO after the revolution and mass
emigration or after WWII some Russian names become popular. There are
rather many Mashas, Natashas and so on. Norvegian queen is Sonya. There is
Canadian singer Natasha St-Pier. Exotic ;-)
