I emailed both code maintainers about RNTrack crashing when using JAM bases
and here is the response I received from Michael Dukelsky, one of the authors:

The problem is in the buggy version of the SMAPI library, because of which one
essentially cannot use the JAM format. I've been going to replace the library
with the version used in HPT for a long time, but unfortunately I don't have
time now for this voluminous work. Sorry.

Until I change the library please use MSG format for netmail.
