WK>A friend of mine bought a new Honda CRX in 1989. Its idle speed would
WK>change depending on electrical load. It was especially noticeable when
WK>listening to music while sitting in the driveway. The engine would rev

Tis a well known fact that Hondas, as well as a number of other makes -
Toyota for example - hold up very well.
Further this just verifies my statement that some of the smaller cars
may not have a beefier enough alternator.
