      This is an update to keep you informed about what's been happening in

life.
      This was my last day of training. This afternoon, we went " " live on
the phones. This means that we made actual calls to people and surveyed them.
Our trainer, Miranda, was in the backround, and also on monitoring us, to be
of help and to see how many mistakes we made. Well, I made a lot of mistakes.
I panicked...several times. This is definitely not good!
     Bottom line---I was given the opportunity to repeat the training class
next week. Miranda said she believes that I *CAN* do this, I just need more
time and practice.My frustration lies in the combination of having to sit
through the *whole* boring thing again, the loss of whatever confidence I 
ave
by having to wait, and, also, in the total archaic nature of the computer
keyboards and editing system that this company has. They've got us working
with a VT 100 system, for heaven sake. Productivity is sacrificed because
they're too cheap to make an investment!!!
    I'm very tired. For $6 an hour, I'm not sure if all this is worth it.
Maybe I should try and be satisfied being a ffull-time, life employee of my
husband in my new home as a homemaker. On the other hand, I don't like being 

quitter; Miranda went out on a limb with management to get permission for me
to repeat training, so I'll probably rreturn for her, if not for me.
    I need to take off. I'll try to write again soon. Thank you all for your
prayers and good wishes. I just wish I believed in me as much as you all seem
to.
