Can't speak for Bob, but, in my case, this one was done when she waas still
a puppy by the breeder.  I was totally
amenable to that in fact, as they've promised me that this
bit of big brother tech will assure me that if my dog is
found somewhere other than where she should be there's a
good chance for her being reunited with her people.  I'm
assured that Shelby and FAyette county animal control people do have the
chip readers.

I debated doing it with Roxy, but she was so old and she
didn't go that far anyway, even when allowed to roam free
when we lived in the shack in the woods in western Fayette
county for a couple years after Katrina.  She never left the property up
there, so at her advanced age I decided to
forego the expenditure, but this one's young and spry.

She'd sure roam now if given the chance, her December heat's upon her
again, and the Pitweiler's lurking about thinking
he'd like to get better acquainted, again.


Got to send Kathy to the library again before June when she
goes into heat again to troll the AKC web resources again
looking for Mr. Right .
