I saw the red triangle NOVA special on PBS. Was it just me or did that
particular program reek of 1950's B-grade horror film footage??!?? Actually
there was one redeeming quality about that special (there was some
interesting footage of tiger sharks eating sea birds) even though the
narrator and sound track were borrowed from "Chariots of the Gods" (now I'm
dating myself). I don't get the discovery channel though (no time or spare
cash to invest in cable or sattilite TV). I hope they do a better job.
I think I asked you about this before but there is a chance that I'll be
coming out to Santa Cruz sometime in the next few months to see an old friend
of mine and would like to do some diving when I'm there. How far away are
you and who do you recommend that I hook up with for any rental gear and
such? I recall that you gave me some general info about the area, which I
appreciated, thank you.
Well it's time to go through the ice after some fellow's ice shack now that
we can get a boat close enough to tow it back home.
Be wet and well.
