It's lots of fun too. :)  Maybe you could try one of the quilt block 
exchanges here on this echo (and the Sew & Quilt echo, if you've got access 
to it) to ease into quilting.. who knows, maybe you'd win one month and get 
the blocks you need for your first quilt.  (smile)
