Title: Poached Pears In Burgundy Wine Sauce

Yield: 4 servings
8 Ripe medium bosc pears
1 c Burgundy wine
2 tb Lemon juice
2 tb Sugar
1 6 oz pk raspberry or
Strawberry gelatin
Peel pears leaving stems on. Place pears in deep 3 quart casserole.
In a small saucepan bring wine and 1 cup water to boil. Add lemon
juice, sugar, and gelatin, stirring until dissolved. Pour liquid over
pears, turning pears to coat. Cover, bake at 350 for 45 to 60 minutes
or until tender, occasionally spooning liquid over pears to evenly
colour. To serve place pears upright in individual dishes. Pour
syrup over each pear. Serve warm. Garnish with edible flowers and
fresh raspberries.
