TT>Greetings:
TT>What software/peripheral hardware might I use to perform disc-based
TT>multitrack recording with a fast Pentium-II PC and an SB16pNp?
TT>Top-of-the-charts fidelity isn't neccessarily an issue. Merely good
TT>would get me to where I need to be.
TT>I've been away from this for quite a while, so please forgive my
TT>ignorance. Is this still a ProTools only kinda thing?
No, Pro Tools was just one of the first-the expenditure for schools and
studios a few years ago, I think that was the program they used on my
first album via the Mac platform like, 7 years ago...
Sure was a great thing, though...
-as far as digital suites go, Voyetra might be something to look into-
This might be a question for the midi forum as well...
There's a few more that escape me for now-I have access to about 3
more...um...
Oh yeah, Cool Edit and Sound Forge...
They were on the tip of my brain...
