GUess we still need a fidonet historian .
Back in the day Marge Robbins in IOwa was sort of filling
that role >

Yup. Have found this true when emptying out the house of a
dead family member a couple of times over the years >

SOunds to me like that one needed to be kicked back at the
writers for a rewrite. USed to do that gig myself, and
sailed more than one back at the writer.
COuld tell you a story about what I had to do to get a
lady's piano performance right for production of her gospel
album full of original songs. Piano was a virtual track
recorded into midi along with mixdown automation for
playback. TOok the computer out of sync with the recorder,
set its time to extremely slow and we had her play that 12
bar phrase at this slow speed, then brought it back up to
speed, synced it all back up. SHE was happy, but it took us most of an afternoon.
IF you're producing an album for a client, never neer allow
the client to stay at your home if home is also the studio
.
I learned that one, always do cleanup edits etc. when the
client *isn't* around .
wIll continue this in netmail if you like as it's not
topical here .

cOuld probably be done with grep like utilities etc.

Richard
