Hi!
I read sometime somewhere that I can link 2 computers via Ethernet and 
UTP cable.
I was told that I need to change the wiring a bit like so:
1  3
2  6
3  1
6  2
Are the above-mentioned wiring assignments correct?  If so, how much is 
the maximum length of the UTP cable (Cat-5)?  
Which view (below) of the RJ-45 connector will show me wire #1 on the 
foreground?

If I switch to coax, what type of cable should I use?  Can I make the 
50-ohm terminators myself?  What materials do I need?
