I get in from around 100MB to 500Mb of files a week with around 100- 300 polls
per day.
I have now got my X830 card and case installed with a Pi3B+, 1Tb Samsung sata
drive (SD card removed)
and all running from a 19V 3.43A laptop adaptor (12 pounds).
Seems to be an issue with the fan that somethome is noisy - OK I can hear it
so going to have to open
the case up and check if it is screwed up correctly and if so put some small
rubber washers between fan
and case as touching the case top the noise does increase so guessing I have
screwed up some where.
As I am writing this it is quiet though - so may be just needed to settle
down..
I might - only might that is, consider making a few up in blocks of four for
parallel processing but
would need to use another Linux distro. Another option which is very unlikely
using Pi's is to create a
NAS but would prefer to find a similar computer that has USB 3 and/or sata
connectors - may be eSata
links.
I wil see how this set up runs first though :)
