the answer would be "enough".  It would depend on what other things you have
running within that, and what memory they need.  (upload scanners, etc, etc.)
I ran mine (when I used DV) in as little as 480k, but was usually running
around 580k in each BBS window.

It would depend on the motherboard.  (And that would be getting off-topic,
so...)  Suffice to say, just because your MB holds 128mb of RAM doesn't
guarantee that you'll be getting more than 600k in a DOS window.  ;-)
