From: "VE3AX" Subject: Re: [drakelist] TR7 drift "VE3AX" made an utterence to the drakelist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For those interested in learning about frequency stabilization for L/C VFO's, here's an interesting link I found. I wasn't aware this is 15-20 year old technology. I suspect Conny DL1SDQ's DAFC for the TR7 works along one of these ideas. http://www.hanssummers.com/radio/huffpuff/contents.htm What I like about this is the ability to avoid the external digital VFO idea like the DDS-2A for the S-line or the new Italian-made DDS-4 for the Drake 4-line. While impressive pieces indeed, I prefer to use the stock internal VFO's in these rigs. I acknowledge that those seeking computer control of their Drakes should love the Woodbox Radio DDS-4. http://www.cqdx.it/woodbox/DDS4.html 73 Peter VE3AX ----- Original Message ----- From: "doc" To: Sent: Friday, July 02, 2004 10:12 AM Subject: Re: [drakelist] TR7 drift > > doc made an utterence to the drakelist gang > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > If the $20.
