subject: Using TDR`s

If anyone is interested in learning the basics of using a TDR (Time Domain
Reflectometer) I have found a Web site which is pretty usefull. It gives
a nice little tuturial on the basics of TDR useage, and has lots of GIF's
on-line which show the display screen and what the waverform should look
like when you encounter lots of different anaomolies. Then it further
breaks down into using your TDR for like 20 different fields, from being
a cable installer, to a LAN installer, to telephone tech, cellular system
designer, etc.. Check out www.tscm.com (go to the menu which says
"equipment", and then search it out from their. There are lots of hidden
menus and files on the TDR, so you really have to nosy around for a while
to find it all..
