Hello Krisi:
The information that I have available to me suggests that Newsline will be
available in Toranto within a few weeks or months at most.  Then it will
not take a long distance call for yhou to access the service.  As to
registration, you do have to register with the service because the
information on the system is copyrighted.  Only blind or visually impaired
people can have access, because the newspapers want to sell their
news-text to sighted people, and they wouldn't take kindly to us just
giving it away to sighted people for free over the telephone.
