1. The V-chip won't protect our kids.
2. The V-chip may persuade some parents that it is OK not to parent this
issue.
3. Even if there are better ways of doing something, doesn't mean that doing
things the lesser way is a bad thing. (this is like the argument that we
shouldn't be spending money on space when there are people hungry).
4. Nobody has defined this "problem" in a way which makes sense to me, and I
don't see people really interested in solving it.
