RM>SK>Nice to see you here again. Have you been on vacation?
RM>PS>I was down in Seattle finishing my Masters'. I learned a lot
RM>PS>about Statistics.
RM>Oh GOODY! - Have you been following my discussion with Chuck
RM>regarding whether large sample size impacts on a study that
RM>may contain more than one variable (the Star study is one
RM>that we're discussing)? He brought up degree of confidence.
RM>He and I are both fuzzy on this point; anything you'd care
RM>to add to what we've written?
I'm afraid I was out of action for a while, with my father in
the hospital, finishing my masters', and a new girlfriend in the
picture, it hasn't been a summer of moderation.
Anytime you take a sample you have to limit the scope of the
study. If you give me some specific facts I probably could tell you if
the data is meaningful.
Keep your stick on the Ice,
Paul
