My Grandmother, who lived in the city of Scranton PA, used to take her kitty
out with a leash.  At the time (I was a teenager then ) I thought it was
great, because my own cat didn't even like her collar and always feisted her
way out of it :)

A kennel is the best way it seeems to get my girls to the vet, etc.  I think
they would chew and claw their way through a seat belt (or try any way )
