Hello Dallas. 11 Aug 06 14:45, you wrote to anyone?: DH> Has anyone successfully run Max 3.x under Win XP Pro (using a modem DH> and/or TCP)? I'm currently running 2 dialup nodes and 2 telnet nodes DH> under Windows 98 but it's getting harder to find hardware that will DH> still run 98 so I have to start planning! I'm not running Maximus right now, but I am running Mystic BBS/DOS for both dial-up and telnet under Win 2000, and I had it running very well before under both NT 4.0 and XP Pro. I use a combination of COM/IP with it's virtual modem drivers to serve the telnet side, and Winfossil/NT as the the fossil driver for the dial-up (with BinkleyTerm/DOS 2.60 as frontend) and the telnet nodes. It should work equally as well for Maximus/DOS 3.x as it does for Mystic/DOS. I do also still have my old Maximus BBS archived on my BBS machine, and could fire it up to confirm for you that it works, if you like. --- GoldED/W32 3.0.1* Origin: MikE'S MaiL MaCHinE!
