A couple of weeks ago, I wrote you asking for some help with getting my NT
4.0 workstation to talk to the internet. Your response (from your NT expert)
was helpful. It's already scrolled off, so I can't quote it. Following that
advice, I was able to contact my ISP and get the DNS server addresses. Once
I got those plugged in, I was able to use DUN to get properly connected to
the ISP.
One problem still remains that I am unable to solve. The borowser, Netscape,
will not bring up DUN, and will err out. If I am already on line when I
bring up Netscape, everything works fine. Supposedly, one of the options
available from the internet icon in the control panel creates this link.
However, the only option available to me from this is the ability to select
or deselect a proxy server. Any ideas?
